  1. Introduction

(a) Web Site Owner. The ArtsBot, LLC. (“The ArtsBot”) is the owner of this website. The ArtsBot can be contacted by e-mail at theartsbot@gmail.com. This online privacy notice discloses The ArtsBot’s information practices for this website, including what type of personally identifiable information is requested in order to make a purchase, how the information is used, and with whom the information is shared.

(b) Website Visits. The ArtsBot collects certain information from users of this site. A user is any individual or entity that visits this website for any purpose. This includes, but is not limited to, the home server domain name, e-mail address, type of computer and web browser, what pages visitor accessed, and limited information about search requests. This website does not automatically collect personal identifiable information of any user. This website only collects personal identifiable information that a user voluntarily submits to The ArtsBot through this website. The information collected by the website is used in ways consistent with the terms of this Privacy Policy.

(c) Website Transactions. At times, The ArtsBot will need or request personal information regarding a user of this site. For example, to process an order or provide a service, The ArtsBot may need to know a user’s name, mailing address, e-mail address and credit card details.

  1. Personal Information That May Be Collected

(a) Identifying Information. In order to make a purchase, access services and/or restricted areas within this site, The ArtsBot will request a user to provide certain personal identifying information, which may include: name, postal address, e-mail address, username, password, telephone number, facsimile number, method of payment, and, if applicable, credit card number. The ArtsBot may request additional information necessary to establish and maintain a user’s account.

(b) Service Quality Monitoring. Some website transactions may require a user to telephone The ArtsBot, or The ArtsBot to call the customer. The ArtsBot will not contact you by telephone without your prior consent, except to confirm an order placed online and/or to inform a user of the status of such order. Customer should be aware that it is The ArtsBot’s practice to monitor, and in some cases record such calls for staff training or quality assurance purposes.

(c) Information from Children. The ArtsBot does not knowingly solicit, use or disclose personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13, or the equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction. The ArtsBot, moreover, does not sell products for purchase by children. Users who wish to purchase or subscribe to services offered by The ArtsBot or submit any personal identifiable information through this site shall be at least 18 years of age. No user shall submit to The ArtsBot, through this site, personal identifiable information about any person under the age of 13, or the equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction.

If a child’s parent or guardian believes that a child has submitted personal identifiable information to The ArtsBot, then the parent or guardian shall notify The ArtsBot by telephone (number), email (theartsbot@gmail.com), or mail (address). In the event that The ArtsBot believes, learns, or is notified that it has collected information from children under the age of 13, or the equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction, then The ArtsBot will take reasonable measures to delete such information and not use it for any purpose.

(d) Lost or Stolen Information. If a user’s credit card and/or password is lost or stolen, the user should promptly notify The ArtsBot in order to enable The ArtsBot to cancel the lost or stolen information and to update its records with a changed credit card and/or password.

(e) Chat Rooms, Forums and Bulletin Boards. If a user participates in a chat room, discussion forum, or posts messages to a bulletin board, the user should be aware that the information disclosed and shared will be broadly available to other persons, both inside of and/or outside The ArtsBot, who have access to that chat room, forum or bulletin board. A participant’s expressed opinion is his or her own and should not be considered as reflecting the opinion of The ArtsBot.

(f) Links to Other Web Sites. This site may contain content, services, advertising and other materials that link to websites operated by third parties. The ArtsBot has no control over those other sites, and this Privacy Policy does not apply to them. Please refer to the privacy policies of those sites for more information on how the operators of those sites collect and use your information.

  1. Uses Made of the Information

(a) Uses Identified. The ArtsBot may use a user’s personal identifiable information in ways consistent with the purpose for which the information was submitted by the user to The ArtsBot. For instance, The ArtsBot may use personal identifiable information to reply to inquiries, handle complaints, send promotional emails, provide operational notices and in program record-keeping. The ArtsBot also uses personal identifiable information to process billing and business requests related to a user’s participation with this site. Personal information collected by The ArtsBot may also be used by The ArtsBot for the following purposes: statistical analysis of customer’s behavior; for product development; for content improvement; to customize the content and layout of The ArtsBot’s site; for internal company reviews; and other similar purposes.

(b) Marketing Uses. The ArtsBot reserves the right to provide users of this website with information about The ArtsBot’s Website, The ArtsBot products and services, and related information in which customer has indicated an interest.

(c) Stored Information Uses. The ArtsBot stores and retains the information provided by a user and/or the information entered on this site. This information is used to compile a user’s purchase history in order to enable The ArtsBot to recommend products, services, or special offers that would be of interest to a user. Stored information is also used by The ArtsBot and/or agents of The ArtsBot to support user interaction with The ArtsBot Website; to deliver user purchases; and/or to contact user about other services and products of The ArtsBot.

(d) Online Advertising. Some companies that help The ArtsBot deliver interactive on-line advertising, such as banner ads, may collect and use information about The ArtsBot’s customers to help The ArtsBot better understand the types of advertising or promotions that are most appealing to The ArtsBot’s customers. After it is collected, the information is aggregated so it is not identifiable to a specific individual.

  1. Disclosure of the Information

(a) Change of Ownership or Organization. In the event of a merger, change of ownership, acquisition, or sale of The ArtsBot, the ArtsBot may transfer any and all information, including personal identifiable information, it collects to a relevant third party and/or new entity. It is The ArtsBot’s practice to seek appropriate protection for information in these types of transactions.

(b) Business Development. For the purpose of developing and expanding its business, The ArtsBot may share, rent, sell or buy business assets. In such transactions, customer information is generally one of the transferred business assets. Also, in the event The ArtsBot is acquired, customer information will be one of the transferred assets.

(c) Agents. The ArtsBot may employ or engage other companies and individuals to perform business functions on behalf of The ArtsBot. These persons are provided with personal identifying information required to perform their functions, but are prohibited by contract from using the information for other purposes. These persons engage in a variety of functions which include, but are not limited to, fulfilling orders, delivering packages, removing repetitive information from customer lists, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, processing credit card payments and providing customer services.

(d) Affiliated Businesses. The ArtsBot may work with affiliated businesses operating website stores, providing services or selling products on each other’s websites. These businesses identify themselves to customers. Customer information related to a transaction with an affiliated business may be shared with that affiliated business.

(e) Marketing Analysis by Third Parties. The ArtsBot reserves the right to disclose to third parties personal information about users for marketing analysis; however, any information disclosed will be in the form of aggregate data that does not describe or identify an individual user.

(f) Disclosure to Governmental Authorities. Under certain circumstances, personal information may be subject to disclosure pursuant to a judicial or other government subpoenas, warrants, orders, and/or proceedings.

  1. Use of Computer Tracking Technologies

(a) No Tracking of Personal Information. The ArtsBot’s Website is not set up to track, collect or distribute personal information not entered by visitors. Through web site access logs The ArtsBot collects clickstream data and HTTP protocol elements, which generate certain kinds of non-identifying site usage data, such as the number of hits and visits to the site. This information is used for internal purposes by technical support staff or agents for research and development, user analysis and business decision making, all of which provides better services to the public. The statistics garnered, which contain no personal information and cannot be used to gather such information, may also be provided to third parties.

(b) Use of Cookies. The ArtsBot, or its third party affiliates, collects non-identifiable and personal information through the use of various technologies, including “cookies”. A cookie is an alphanumeric identifier that a website can transfer to customer’s hard drive through customer’s browser. The cookie is then stored on user’s computer as an anonymous tag that identifies the user’s computer, but not the user. Cookies may be sent by The ArtsBot or its third party affiliates. The user can set his/her/its browser to notify him/her/it before a cookie is received, giving an opportunity to decide whether to accept the cookie. A user may also set its browser to turn off cookies; however, some websites may not then work properly.

(d) Collection of Non-Identifiable Information. The ArtsBot may collect non-personally identifiable information from user visits to The ArtsBot site in order to provide better customer service. Examples of such collecting include: traffic analysis, such as tracking of the domains from which users visit, or tracking numbers of visitors; measuring visitor activity on the site; website and system administration; user analysis; and business decision making. Such information is sometimes known as “clickstream data.” The ArtsBot or its contractors may use this data to analyze trends and statistics.

(e) Collection of Personal Information. The ArtsBot collects personal identifying information from user during a transaction and in other instances where a user voluntarily submits personal identifiable information to The ArtsBot. The ArtsBot may extract some personally identifying information about that transaction in a non-personally identifiable format and combine it with other non-identifiable information, such as clickstream data. This information is used and analyzed only at an aggregate level (not at an individual level) to help The ArtsBot understand trends and patterns. This information is not reviewed at an individual level.

  1. Information Security

(a) Commitment to Online Security. The ArtsBot intends to protect user personal information and to maintain its quality. To achieve information security and quality, The ArtsBot implements appropriate measures and processes, such as using encryption when transmitting certain sensitive information.

(b) No Liability for Acts of Third Parties. The ArtsBot will exercise all reasonable efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of user personal information. However, transmissions protected by industry standard security technology and implemented by human beings cannot be made absolutely secure. Consequently, The ArtsBot shall not be liable for unauthorized disclosure of personal information due to no fault of The ArtsBot including, but not limited to, errors in transmission and unauthorized acts of The ArtsBot staff and/or third parties.

  1. Privacy Policy Changes and Opt-Out Rights

(a) Changes to Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy is effective as of 7/1/2016. The ArtsBot reserves the right to change or update this Privacy Policy statement at any time and will post any changes or updates on this site as soon they go into effect. By visiting this site, entering into a purchase order, or subscribing to The ArtsBot’s services after any changes or updates are made to this Privacy Policy, you are deemed to have accepted such changes or updates. Please refer back to this Privacy Policy on a regular basis.

(b) Opt-Out Right. All users have the right at any time to cease permitting personal information to be collected, used or disclosed by The ArtsBot and/or by any third parties with whom The ArtsBot has shared and/or transferred such personal information. Right of cancellation may be exercised by sending an email to theartsbot@gmail.com.  After processing the cancellation, The ArtsBot will delete the user’s personal information from its data base.

(c) Unsubscribe. If you wish to stop receiving promotional e-mails, you may do so by visiting [insert hyperlink] or by e-mailing theartsbot@gmail.com. You may also choose to unsubscribe from The ArtsBot’s emails by following the instructions at the bottom of the email.

  1. Access Rights to Data

(a) Information Maintained by The ArtsBot. Upon user’s request, The ArtsBot will provide a reasonable description of user’s personally identifiable information that The ArtsBot maintains in its data bank. The ArtsBot can be contacted by e-mail at theartsbot@gmail.com.

(b) Corrections and Changes to Personal Information. Please help The ArtsBot to keep user personal information accurate. If user’s personal information changes, or if user notes an error upon review of user information that The ArtsBot has on file, please promptly e-mail The ArtsBot at theartsbot@gmail.com and provide the new or correct information.

  1. Accountability

(a) Questions, Problems and Complaints. If you have a question about this policy statement, or a complaint about The ArtsBot compliance with this privacy policy, you may contact The ArtsBot by e-mail at theartsbot@gmail.com. (b) Important Notice to Users Outside the U.S. This site is operated in the United States. If you are located outside of the United States, please be aware that any information you provide to The ArtsBot will be transferred to the United States.
