Your 2025 Travel Checklist

Hope everyone is off to a great 2025 and that your holidays were happy.

This year, I am back to blogging. Aren’t you always happy when you have a trip planned?

So, where to in 2025? I am a big fan of exotic travel, and in 2024 I went on an amazing trip to Indonesia and am already thinking about 2025.

I always take a bunch of Artsbot kits to give to away on the plane. Our kits are awesome, keeps kids occupied and away from the screen. And of course, they are TSA compliant. It’s all in the bag! And best of all, we will be introducing some new products this year so stay tuned.

So, where are you going?

There is a lot to consider when planning a family vacation. What is the best way to get started?

Here is an easy check list to help you get started. And if you follow these steps, it won’t feel so daunting. Start planning early.

Deciding where to go is not so easy, but to get started, ask your family what they like to do on vacation. They may come up with answers like going to the beach, going swimming, visiting museums, and going hiking.

So, where are you going to do all that? Make a list of places that you always wanted to visit. Do those places have all those activities? If there are disagreements, maybe you draw straws.

When are you going? There are lots of options: Summer, Christmas, Spring Break? These are often peak travel periods. If you can travel in the off season, you will save money all around. Oh yeah, and can you get off from work?

How are you getting there? Is this a driving trip, or a plane? Are there any trains in between? Once you figure out the dates and how your traveling, call the airlines if you are flying and get a sense of the ticket costs. Do you have any miles or points? Do the same if you are taking a train.

Overall, if you want to save money, travel during the low season. Keep in mind this means conditions like weather may be less than optimal and there might be less going on, but there are also the benefits; like being able to secure accommodation and book tours without much hassle.

Its early in the year and it is a good time to start saving. So how much do you need to save? How do you figure that out?

When are you going and for how long? How are you getting there?

Do you need to rent a car upon arrival? Where are you staying? And how much will it cost per night?
